love is god

the soft-spoken psychiatrist
my rosary-obsessed mother
the holy priest
into my soul
like they knew
the path

icy fingers
peeking into
my vagina

has anyone been here
who did you sleep with
will you confess your sins

i close my book
i’ve never felt such evil
surround me

they promise
heaven is the price
if i’m good
hell awaits
the lost

the church
will give me
through confession

even if i do not deserve
God’s mercy

but i am still not sorry

i am the highest heaven
i am the hottest hell

your god is not love
and he is unworthy
of me
